Design and Product Development

At FTS we are proud of our Product Development
Centre. The creative team comprises of fabric sourcing specialists, print and CAD designers as well as a Design team that are well equipped to support with virtual 3D design as well as A.I. projects. The team has the
capabilities to create exclusive print artworks
& intricate embroidery designs.

Working with the FTS sample room there is the capacity to deliver inspiring collections for both Womenswear and Childrenswear to aid our design partners in coming up with new and innovative ideas. The sample room also delivers high quality first samples based on our business partners spec packs.

Embracing Technology

Within the Design Department we have specialists that use 3D garment simulation softwares. This enables a more nimble approach to design as well as a more sustainable footpath with a reduction in the number of samples required. As a business we have also started to work with AI, enabling designs that have been created using AI to become a reality.

The joint venture with Continuum creates magic by bringing together the epitome of Continuum’s unique and well-known product handwriting with the strength of execution and manufacturing capabilities of FTS.

FTS x Continuum is a joint venture established in March 2023, with a team in central London and a design studio and manufacturing in New Delhi, India.

Together we have a wealth of expertise from within the fashion industry and in-depth knowledge and insight of the British and US market. With many years’ experience working in the fashion industry we have a strong understanding of commercial product design as well as Indian, process driven clothing manufacture.
